It was a little while ago that Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, announced that the government had decided to sack 150,000 Govt Jobs and close 43 ministries. An attempt should be made by this process to complete the whole activity by June 30 of this fiscal year.
Out of 150,000 jobs, it will declare about 60% of the regular vacant posts as redundant. In this way, the government proposes streamlining operations to achieve a substantial financial impact. Further, cleaning, plumbing, gardening, and the like non-core jobs will be outsourced.
