Six Pakistani students fly to Japan from December 10 to 17 in 2024 by JENESYS. This initiative, the hallmark of Japanese intervention, aims to improve relations between Japan and the rest of Asia and the Pacific. These students are going to join 41 other youths from SAARC countries.
The program will particularly focus on “Energy”. In addition to lectures on energy, its cultural experience, and trips to different sites, the participants will explore the country’s economic, social, historical, political, and cultural dimensions.

For the Pakistani group, this orientation was organized by the Embassy of Japan in Islamabad. Ambassador-designate Akamatsu Shuichi urged these participants to soak up every bit of their visit while learning about Japan. He added that the cultural exchange between both nations will grow through homestays.
The ambassador expressed hope that the youth would contribute to developing good relations between Japan and Pakistan. JENESYS makes up a good channel through which to develop friendships and share ideas. The Japanese government has been extending this program to youth from all over SAARC countries every year.
