Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi commended the Punjab Police on Wednesday for effectively averting a terrorist strike on the Lakhani Check Post located at the border between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In his remarks, he praised the valor and the commitment of police officials who countered the attack. “Once again, the police have thwarted the evil plans of terrorists and have protected the country,” he remarked.

He also congratulated Punjab Police Commander IG Usman Anwar and his team on their exceptional leadership. “Punjab Police has a legacy of proud kinship courage and bravery, and now this adds to that legacy,” Naqvi wrote.
The minister spoke of speedy and decisive action from police that resulted in preserving lives, sending a great message to those who threatened peace in the area. Naqvi celebrated their constant commitment to protecting the country and its people.
