Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar is denying the accounts of shooting by security forces over the Security Forces over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protestors in Islamabad.
Diligently speaking to international media together with Planning and Development Minister Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, Tarar confirmed that neither PIMS nor Polyclinic hospitals received in their premises any victims of gunshot wounds nor any bodies.
Alleging PTI protesters to have enhanced weapons at high levels tried to breach the red zone, creating a great threat to the security of the capital.

He affirmed that the cases against the founder of PTI do not involve any government involvement, reiterating that the security forces acted only to preserve the sanctity of Islamabad.
Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal added that the PTI’s imprisoned founder is not a political prisoner but is indeed facing many allegations, such as corruption and instigation of violence. The charges against him included that of encouraging the public to use their best resistance against sensitive installations with a viewpoint of destabilizing the country.
“The international community should comprehend that Imran Khan is not a victim of political persecution,” Iqbal said. “He’s facing grave allegations that no leader or public figure in the Western world would escape accountability for.”
