The Authority for Roads and Transport in Dubai, popularly referred to as RTA, has announced plans to effect new pay structures to drive better traffic management and congestion reduction. As of early 2025, these road tolls, parking fees, and event charges are some of the changes that will take effect.
Salik Road Toll Price
The Variable Road Toll Pricing (Salik) would come into force, effective January 2025.
Free Toll Hours: 1 am to 6 am
Peak Hours: Dh 6 from 6 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 8 pm on weekdays.
Off-Peak Hours: 10 am to 4 pm and 8 pm to 1 am at Dh 4.
Sundays: Dh 4 for the day, with the condition of being toll-free from 1 am to 6 am (except on public holidays or major events).

Variable Parking Fees
Premium Parking Spaces: Dh 6 per hour during peak hours (8 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 8 pm)
All Other Public Parking Lots: Dh 4 per hour during peak hours
Nightly Free: 10 pm to 8 am, as well as Sunday all day
Off-Peak Hours: The same charges will apply between 10 am and 4 pm, and 8 pm to 10 pm

Public Paid parking near the Event Zone: Dh 25 per hour effective February 2025
