While speaking at the opening ceremony of the Pakistan Foreign Office Women’s Association (PFOWA) Charity Bazaar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar said that charity bazaars are very important in saving poor communities.
Emphasizing the need to extend such initiatives into organizing such events twice in a year, he said this will certainly maximize the impact.
He further appreciated diplomats for their whole-hearted involvement in the PFOWA bazaar which he further said, has been the function of cultural diplomacy to build the mutual good of nations.

The charity bazaar, according to him, served as a forum for bringing different cultures close and familiarizing people with what is unique from each other in cultures.
The event held recently at the Foreign Office had cultural stalls from many foreign embassies.
This would showcase the rich culture of participating countries while strengthening international camaraderie and supporting charitable causes.
