In Punjab, Police have foiled terrorist attacks on the Chahapri Police Station in the Isakhel Circle of Punjab, bordering KP provinces.
During heavy gunfire, they shoot down four militants. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, more than 20 well-armed attackers launched a surprise attack on the police station using rocket launchers and hand grenades.
However they did not injure any police personnel, only two officers received minor injuries.

They later saw the District Police Officer Mianwali, Akhtar Farooq, and other senior officers who came to the site for an on-the-spot visit.
Punjab Inspector General of Police Dr. Usman Anwar praised the bravery of police officers and reiterated the department’s commitment to foiling the schemes of anti-peace elements in the province.
