Gold Price in Pakistan Decreases After Two Consecutive Gains

Gold price in Pakistan recorded its first drop of the month of December after two consecutive rises seen at the tail end of last week.

The price of gold (24 carats) declined by Rs. 1,700 per tola to Rs. 274,500 while the price of 10 grams fell by Rs. 1,457 to Rs. 235,340, according to the data issued by All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The price of precious metal saw losses of Rs. 4,100 and Rs. 4,300 per tola last week on Monday and Tuesday respectively. On Wednesday, there was an increase of Rs. 1,600 per tola; yet on Thursday, it dropped by Rs. 700 per tola. On Friday, it recorded an increase of Rs. 2,100 per tola before falling again today.

Internationally, the price of gold decreased by 10.5 dollars to 2635 from 2646 dollars.
