Pakistan Trade Deficit In November 2024 was Reduced By 18.60 Percent Year-On-Year ($1.589 Billion), Compared With A Trade Deficit Of $1.952 Billion Recorded In The Same Month Last Year, According To Data Released By The Pakistan Bureau Of Statistics (PBS).
Exports Registered at $2.804 Billion in November 2024, an Increase of 8.98 Percent Compared to $2.573 Billion for the Same Month of the Last Fiscal Year.
Imports Posted a Decrease of 2.92 Percent at $4.393 Billion in November 2024 Compared with $4.525 Billion During the Same Month of Last Fiscal Year.
Month-on-month basis
On a monthly basis, this is a widening by 0.19 percent trade deficit at $1.589 billion in November 2024, compared with a trade deficit of $1.586 billion recorded in October 2024.

Exports in November 2024 decreased by 5.97 percent to $2.804 billion against $2.982 billion in October 2024. Imports were down by 3.83 percent during November 2024 to $4.393 billion as against $4.568 billion in October 2024.
Five-Month Performance
The trade deficit contracted by 7.39 percent over the first five months of the current fiscal year at $8.651 billion, down from $9.341 billion for the same period last fiscal year.
Increased Exports of the Country by 12.57 Percent in the First 5 Months (July-November) of FY25 Compared to $12.162 Billion in the Same Period of FY24. The country had a record $13.691 billion.
The country’s imports grew by 3.90 percent amounting to $22.342 billion during the first five months of this fiscal year as against $21.503 billion during the same period last fiscal year.
