As part of the New Year 2025 celebrations, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has introduced a special 10% discount on flights from Canada to Pakistan.
The promotion has been confirmed by PIA officials, who reiterated the much-required facilitation for their clients heading to Pakistan. The discount will make matters cheaper for the flights during the holiday period.
In another development, PIA plans to reactivate its flights to European destinations in weeks to come following the lifting of a four-year embargo recently by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on the Pakistani carrier.

The ban which was initially placed in 2020 came after safety concerns that arose from the downing of a PIA A-320-200 aircraft and the revelation that over 25% of PIA pilots had dubious licenses. EASA has yet to remove this suspension even after attempts by PIA and the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) to redress the situation.
PIA has come to Europe and then given discounts together, which indicates its recovery from a bad reputation and the extension of operations internationally.
