Imran Khan Faces 76 Cases in Islamabad, IHC Informed

It was told on Thursday before Islamabad High Court (IHC) that the former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, now has 76 cases against him in Islamabad.

As per the details, Islamabad police have lodged 14 new cases against Khan owing to the protests led by his party in Islamabad. The total number of cases against him was earlier 62. A prior order by the IHC had called for a detailed report regarding the PTI chief’s cases to be presented by the police.

On top of that, the case essayed by the sister of Khan Norin regarding the veritable record of cases lodged against Khan’s name has also been accepted by the court. Within the court, reports from NAB and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) were submitted alongside that of the interior secretary implying cases lodged against Khan in the other provinces-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan. After these reports were filed, the court disposed of the petition of Niazi.
