In an exciting announcement, energy minister Awais Leghari has informed that the beautiful news going to knock is that Pakistan and Russia have decided to enhance the cargo train service and commence a test run of this development in March of next year. Such cargo trains would pass through Iran and Azerbaijan to eventually terminate at Moscow as part of the North-South Corridor. The undeniable fact is a trade and bilateral relations are strengthening more between Pakistan and Russia.
They are also in discussions to initiate an air service directly connecting both countries. On Wednesday, both countries also exchanged eight MoUs at Moscow covering health, trade, and education. Some of these MoUs were signed between Pakistan’s COMSATS and Peshawar University with Russian universities, in addition to those dealing with insulin production and enhancing trade and industrial cooperation.
