China and Vietnam Complete Joint Naval Patrol in Beibu Gulf

The two navies from China and Vietnam have just finished two days of their naval patrol at the Beibu Gulf, which covered over 200 nautical miles. The patrol operation comprised four vessels and the missions focused mainly on improving both navies with information exchange and data sharing. They exchanged live information with each other on hydrometeorological conditions and their courses and speeds thus furthering the coordination.

This 37th joint patrol represents a very important step in strengthening the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. It underlines the importance of this exercise to further deepen mutual trust and cooperation, strengthen their collective ability to address maritime emergencies and secure regional stability and security.
