Pakistan has re-confirmed its support for the strife of the people of Palestine for self-determination and all-encompassing freedom and justice by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. In a meeting held with the Palestinian ambassador, Dr. Zuhair Mohammad Hamadallah Zaid, in Islamabad, he sharply condemned the atrocities committed by Israel against the Palestinians, particularly in the face of the dire consequences of the situation after October 7, 2023, which has taken an excess of 43,000 lives and left more than 105,000 pills.
Sharif noted with disappointment the global silence towards Israel’s acts and reiterated the demand of Pakistan for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza with unbridled humanitarian access to the afflicted Palestinians. He assured the ambassador of Pakistan’s abiding solidarity with the resilient Palestinian people and promised to continue supporting their cause.
