Cold and dry weather conditions are predicted for the next 24 hours throughout the country by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), with much colder conditions anticipated for the northern areas in the mornings and nights.
Some shallow patches of fog are likely to exist in some plain regions of Punjab and the higher Sindh in the early morning hours.

As per the synoptic weather situation, the continental air dominantly occupies most of the regions, while a weak westerly wave is forecasted to affect the upper parts of the country by Saturday night.
The last 24 hours have been cold and dry for most areas in the country. Leh was the coldest location on Thursday when the temperatures fell to -10°C.
