Indian doctors participating in the 13th SAARC ENT Congress in Karachi have praised Pakistan for its hospitality and welcoming international delegates. They say that there is an immense potential for cross-border collaboration in healthcare that can really go beyond politics and be beneficial to the region.
Visiting Pakistan for the second time, India’s most prominent ENT surgeon Dr. KP Morwani recognized the safety of the country and the respect shown to guests. He decried the absence of direct flights to facilitate travel between Mumbai and Karachi as a deterrent to increased collaboration. Dr. MK Taneja had similar feelings, saying the warmth of Pakistani culture is greatly appreciated.
