Sharjeel Inam Memon, Senior Minister Sindh, announced that a two-month deadline has been prescribed for the completion of 40 People’s Bus Service stops in the province. According to the minister, 100 bus stops were already completed, and the remaining ones will be completed by January 2025. By this scheme, it is intended that the transport system gets a facelift that would allow passengers to sit comfortably and sheltered from the weather.
It also took a decision to make compulsory fitness checking of all vehicles across Sindh to ensure road safety and environmental protection. Action would be taken against vehicle owners who do not comply with fitness under these regulations.
