Lahore is going to launch its first floating restaurant on the Lahore Canal along Harbanspura. Rs. 350 million has been allocated by the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) for the project, which will comprise a floating dining boat, sitting areas, cafes, and play areas solely for children, making the canal area an attractive leisure point.
The PHA selected three firms Babar & Co., HRD Construction, and Riyaz Enterprises for the construction of this project. Besides the floating restaurant, the PHA aims to develop an amenity site that has not been utilized for many days into another exciting picnic site in the same locality.
