The chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman lamented governments and the establishment and said that the governance system today is under the establishment’s control, and he will not accept it.
At the Israel Murdaabad Conference in Peshawar, he pointed out his party’s loyalty to Palestine and angrily expressed condemnation of the West. He alleged the US and Western nations that committed inhuman acts against him and went on to criticize Pakistan’s relationship under ex-President General Pervez Musharraf. He warned that JUI workers would raise their voices against all current policies if they continued.

Rehman called on the masses to throw out the establishment’s rule, adding that the present government was betraying the reasons for establishing Pakistan. The cleric here opposed this 26th Amendment to be introduced and reaffirmed his insistence on rights and independence for religious seminaries.
He finally asked the supporters to brace themselves for actions in defense of Pakistan’s stability and ideology.
