Some highlights from the speech of Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Chairperson, Peace and Culture Organization, point out grievous human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) at an event in Islamabad. She mentioned the alarming use of rape as a weapon of war in the region. Mullick requested immediate steps to mobilize awareness of the ongoing genocide of Kashmiris through such means.

Earlier in their messages on International Human Rights Day, Asif Ali Zardari, the President, and Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister, called upon the global people to take stronger steps to put an end to extreme violations of human rights in Palestine and IIOJK. They condemned the ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza and in other occupied territories by Israel and the atrocities done by Indian forces in IIOJK. They focused on international intervention to stop these violations.
