Cybersecurity Awareness Week 2024 has been initiated by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), from December 9 until the 15th, in order to promote safety awareness among citizens and the concerned organizations. The week-long campaign organizes all activities on online security, data privacy, and the laws related to cybersecurity crimes under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016.

The activities the PTA has planned will range from expert discussions about the latest cyber threats all throughout the week. Citizens as well as private and educational institutions are invited to help build a strong cybersecurity infrastructure for Pakistan by engaging with the PTA’s social media channels and posting content from the campaign.”
