Murad Ali Shah and Saleem Haider meet to boost PML-N, PPP alliance

On Tuesday, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah made a call upon Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at the Governor’s House, where the meeting mainly discussed strengthening cooperation between coalition partners-the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, PML-N, and the Pakistan Peoples Party, PPP.

CM Syed Murad Ali Shah received a warm welcome on his arrival at the Governor’s House and the discussions focused on the latest meeting of the co-ordination committees of PML-N and PPP, held at Punjab House, Islamabad.

During the meeting, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan stressed that fulfillment of promises made by the PML-N to the PPP would be very important. Togetherness and collective efforts would be required to find solutions for the national problems.

He, too, expressed the hope that the upcoming meeting of the coordination committee, scheduled to be held on December 24 in Lahore would pave the way for improved relations between the coalition partners. He also expressed confidence that the PPP would again make inroads in gaining political strength in Punjab, stating that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was a real leader of youth.

Governor Haider Khan also expressed grievances over the resurgence of terrorism in the country and acknowledged the sacrifices made by security personnel. He laid floral tributes on martyrs who have died for the nation’s safety.

CM Syed Murad Ali Shah reaffirmed the PPP commitment to working for the welfare of the people, especially the disadvantaged segments of society. The party politics of the PPP lie with public betterment and social justice.

The meeting reiterated the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between PML-N and PPP for political stability in the country and effective responses to national challenges.
