The Pak-China Joint Military Drill Warrior-VIII has finally come to an end, effectively summing up three weeks of intensive counter-terrorism exercises. Conducted from November 19 to December 11, this drill turns out to be the eighth in the series of annual bilateral military exercises between the two nations.

The Distinguished Visitors’ Day ceremony of the Tilla Field Firing Range on December 10 was graced by some of the top military and diplomatic officials. Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz was there as the chief guest along with the other dignitaries such as the Chinese envoy to Pakistan. Participants appreciated the professionalism and coordination of both armies.
The drill also highlighted the strengthening of military cooperation and mutual commitment towards regional security between Pakistan and China.
