The Federal Government has made several appointments and changes in personnel in various departments at the federal level. Major General Jawad Riaz succeeds Brigadier Ghulam Abbas and has been made the new Director General of the Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG).
The Prime Minister’s Office has also hired Hassan Khan for three years as a Senior Associate for Digital Transformation and e-governance under Management Pay Scale II.

Ms. Aisha Tauqeer has also resigned from her old job as a Research Associate in the Prime Minister’s office. Her resignation has been accepted. Muhammad Hassan Shafqat, Grade-18 officer of Commerce and Trade group, has got his services back to the Ministry of Commerce after serving as Deputy Secretary under section 10.
Hussain Mahmood, Assistant Executive Engineer at PARC, has been assigned to the National Highway Authority (NHA) on deputation for a period of three years. Further, the prime minister has approved the appointment of Professor Dr. Ikram Ali, currently Director at Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi as Chairman of the Federal Board of Education in Islamabad. This will be on deputation for three years.
