The new fire cases in Islamabad on Monday raised alarm bells among the residents but the swift action of the rescue teams averted any huge damage.
The fire broke out in a house in the F-7/2 sector due to a short circuit as per reports. Most of the household items went up in flames and one person received minor injuries. The injured was immediately shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).

The second fire incident broke out at Jamil Sweets in the Blue Area again caused by an electrical short circuit. Fire brigade teams, IESCO officials, and the local police speedily responded to ensure that no casualties took place because of that fire and successfully put out the fire.
The incidents are under investigation to find out the exact cause of the situations and possible remedial measures to prevent them from happening again.
