According to sources, more than 12 mass graves were found on Monday in the southern Syrian region of Daraa Governorate, which is believed to hold the remains of civilians killed by the regime of deposed leader Bashar Assad. Most likely, these mass graves were being opened following the discovery of the official collapse of the Baath regime so recently at the start of this month, and they were included in the national program for search and survey activities all over Syria.
Statement from the anti-stopping-the-regime groups involved in digging activities in Daraa read this grave unearthed in the Izraa district; currently identified are the remains of 31 bodies, and more are expected. Residents are helping in the excavation.

On an earlier occasion, Anadolu teams shot on camera a mass grave in the areas evacuated by Baghdad Bridge, just outside Damascus; remains from this place were said to belong to civilians killed by the Assad regime. It can be authored that ‘those killed as a result of torture and very tough conditions in several jails, including notorious Sednaya prison in Damascus, were buried in these cemeteries.’
It will be shown that these burial pits are long and deep with bodies piled one over the other marked with prison codes and then the names of the dead. It will be seen that bodies of people are taken out of the graves in sacks.
