The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) gave post-arrest bail to a woman accused of smuggling mobile phones, overruling the Lahore High Court verdict. Justice Musarrat Hilali wrote the judgment, emphasizing that the LHC should have factored in the fact of the woman being accused with no previous criminal record while canceling her bail.

The absence of prior criminal records or absconding was noted. It was stated that the woman was caught in possession of 26 iPhones recovered at Lahore Airport.
