The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Wing arrested three women at Sialkot International Airport for alledgedly being beggars in Saudi Arabia by pretending to perform Umrah pilgrimage.
The women hailing from Multan, Muzaffargarh, and Rahim Yar Khan were arrested on their return from Saudi Arabia. According to the FIA spokesperson, the women had been into this begging activity for many months there.

Earlier in October, FIA Immigration nabbed eight persons from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport who were found trying to travel with bogus documents and beg abroad. They were intercepted just before boarding flights to Saudi Arabia for begging purposes without a valid hotel booking or reasonable justification for expenses.
Three other men were arrested in a different operation of FIA for trying to travel to Azerbaijan on fake documents.
Thus, highlighting the ongoing campaign of FIA against human trafficking and fraudulent travel activities.
