Former US President Jimmy Carter Dies at 100

The longest-living president of the United States “Jimmy Carter” passed away at the age of 100 on December 29, 2024. One who was a prominent personality in the history of America, known as a humanitarian and peacekeeper.

The 39th President of America from the years 1977 to 1981, Jimmy Carter, later became the founder of the Carter Center, which was established with the mission of promoting human rights and improving human welfare. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace in the year 2002 for his vast work in mediation and conflict resolution, disease eradication, and election monitoring.

President Joe Biden has declared January 9, 2025, as a National Day of Mourning in honor of the legacy of Carter. Flags will be flown at half-mast, and a memorial service will take place to celebrate his life and contributions to the nation and the world.
