The Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain in Lahore and other districts of Punjab from tomorrow (Thursday) until January 6, with a humidity peak of 94%.
Despite the cold weather ushering in the new year, Lahore stands as the third most polluted city in Pakistan with an average smog level of 219 recorded.

The temperature in Lahore currently stands at 9°C, with a low of 8°C and a high of 18°C expected. Wind speeds are reported to be blowing at about 5 km/h.
