This exercise organized between Pakistan and Iran aimed to enhance naval interoperability and learning through joint activities and joint exercises.
During the visit to Port Bandar Abbas in Iran by the Pakistan Navy ships Rasadgar and Azmat, along with the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) ship Dasht, the exercise occurred and was led by the flotilla Commander Commodore Muhammad Umair, Commander of the 14th Destroyer Squadron.
Interests such as mutual subjects, Navy-to-Navy events, and enhanced maritime security cooperation were discussed with Iranian naval commanders during the visit.

Previous engagements
During the previous month of December, Pakistan Navy Ship Saif had been out in the Gulf for joint patrol and passage exercise with Rthe oyal Navy of Oman vessel AL-Seeb and Spanish Navy ship Santa Maria as part of Focused Operation Karakoram Resolve.
Under the Combined Task Force, Pakistan conducted this operation, which aimed at fostering synergy and mutual understanding among the regional navies while showcasing their capabilities to undertake joint operations. PMSA Kashmir also joined this operation further strengthening the commitment towards regional maritime security and cooperation by Pakistan.
