The United Arab Emirates is interested in cooperation with Pakistan in the mining, minerals, and agriculture sectors. This keen interest was proclaimed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President UAE, during a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday in Rahim Yar Khan.
During their meeting, both leaders committed to deeper economic, political, and cultural ties: With economic collaboration, regional stability, climate change, and mutual interests on the global stage among the discussion topics. UAE’s President reaffirmed, thereby, the commitment toward the enhancement of the longstanding partnership with Pakistan in terms of people-to-people connections and shared prosperity.

Under this example, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the stabilization and positive direction of Pakistan’s economy with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. To this, Shehbaz Sharif responded with praise for the visionary leadership of the UAE and its standing as a major partner with Pakistan in development and investment.
He noted that Pakistan is willing to strengthen its cooperation with the UAE in renewable energy, technology, trade, infrastructure, and skill development. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also appreciated the support that the UAE offered during challenging periods concerning humanitarian assistance and developmental aid.
Both pledged to promote peace and progress in the region and agreed on closer cooperation for mutual interests. This agreement shall be propelled by a joint commitment to development in priority sectors, ensuring a better future for both nations.
