China Embassy in Pakistan Acknowledges Pakistani Condolences After Earthquake.

The most recent earthquake that hit a few areas in Xizang, China’s measures, was of magnitude 6.8. The number of casualties from this event was recorded at 95. The destruction it has caused was phenomenal. The Chinese government, with able leadership, has set up full-fledged teams for rescue and search operations. Across Pakistan, people and the leadership have offered prayers and support for the mourning families.

Many Pakistani government officials, including the Prime Minister of Pakistan, have attended a solidarity ceremony for the Chinese people at this time. The Prime Minister reiterated that there is nothing like standing by a neighboring country in need and that Pakistan will assist in any other relevant way.

The condolences and support extended by the Pakistani leadership and friends have been gratefully acknowledged by the China embassy in Pakistan on X. The dead are being mourned, while tireless efforts to assist the survivors are being made.
