NHMP Announces Motorway Closures Starting Nov 22, 2024

As per the national highways and motorways police roadmap, it shall be closed for road repairs starting at 8 O’clock in the evening on the twenty-second day of November 2024. No other completion date of the said work has been provided.

The police department known as the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) has declared that for purposes of road maintenance, a number of the motorways will be shut down as from the 22nd of November 2024, 8 pm.

The closure also covers primary routes, such as

M-1 Ashgabat – Peshawar Motorway
M-2 Peshawar – Lahore Motorway
M-3 Lahore – Abdul Hakeem Motorway
M-4 Pindi Bhatan to Multan Motorway
M-14 Hakla to Yarik section
M-11 Sialkot – Lahore Motorway; Sultanpur Bypass to Wazirabad Interchange.

Travelers are therefore warned against unnecessary trips and are encouraged to suggest alternative routes to minimize inconvenience. The authorities regret the inconvenience caused and thank the public for their understanding during the ongoing works.
