Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, congratulated the social media platform and hub, “Pakistanis in Dubai (PID)” for bringing together the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE and reaching 200,000 members. He made the remarks at the PID Business Summit in Ajman, held in attendance with members of the Pakistani community and business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Commendation for PID
Hussain Muhammad praised PID for having progressed from just being a social media platform to evolving as a hub connecting Pakistanis residing in the UAE. The consular general then commended the platform administrators for their selfless dedication and highly recommended the formation of a much-needed data bank of the Pakistani diaspora to facilitate better interaction and collaboration. He further noted the contribution of the Pakistani community into the economy, culture, and social fabric of the UAE.
Recent Initiatives and Support
Further discussion would dwell on other initiatives, such as the establishment of the Pakistan Business Council in Sharjah, which would promote economic growth and collaboration. Hussain Muhammad also thanked the UAE leadership, which has opened its business environment to the Pakistani community; moreover, he emphasized that it is necessary for all of us to do as much as possible to transform the UAE while also improving bilateral relations between the two countries.
