Carlos Brathwaite Leads Lahore Qalandars in Global Super League

Lahore Qalandars have announced Carlos Brathwaite as their skipper for the inaugural edition of Global Super League 2024, which is slated to take place in Guyana. This has been a positive step forward for the Lahore Qalandars, who are mostly two-time champions of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), in much preparation for a statement in the tournament.

The former leader of West Indies, Carlos Brathwaite, will add experience and leadership to the Lahore Qalandars contingent as he has spent considerable years in Caribbean conditions through international matches, thus providing a tactical edge to the team.

Excited by the opportunity to lead, Brathwaite said, “This is such an honour for me to captain the Lahore Qalandars. This team is like family to me, and to have this opportunity to lead such a talented squad is exciting. With my knowledge of Guyanese conditions and the determination of our players, I am sure we will deliver performances that really do our fans proud.”
