As a result of a three-day shutdown due to a protest, all government and private schools reopen in Islamabad and Rawalpindi are resuming operations starting Thursday. It was announced by Mohammad Mohsin Naqvi, the Federal Minister for Interior, after a clearance operation was carried out to disperse PTI protesters.
Naqvi confirmed, “Schools will be opened tomorrow (Thursday), and mobile internet services will be restored by Wednesday morning.” Schools remained closed since Saturday because of the PTI’s plan to protest on November 24, leaving anxieties among parents about the students’ education.

Parents are dismayed over this long time with no school in Islamabad and Rawalpindi as it critically affects children’s academic progress. While some picked online classes, quite several parents contended that those weren’t as good as face-to-face sessions.
Though the clearance brought one major development on Wednesday morning, Islamabad and Rawalpindi are back on their feet. Accordingly, Irfan Memon directed assistant commissioners to let each of their roads open again and clear at important intersections for the rehabilitation of the nation from that cause.
