While addressing the passing-out parade of naval cadets in Karachi, Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu urged on keeping constant readiness to meet international challenges.
“The Pakistan Air Force is strengthening the balance of power in the region,” he stated while highlighting the strategic role of the Pakistan Air Force. He praised Pakistan Naval Academy as one of the best institutions in the world and congratulated the cadets for their feat.

The air chief also considered the Pakistan Navy a very important contributor to the country’s defensive capability and emphasized the importance of a strong economy. “A healthy economy is required for a strong defense. The economy of Pakistan is improvement day by day,” he added.
He also called upon the international community to work for a resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
Earlier in the ceremony, 79 officers were inducted into the Pakistan Navy and took oath to serve the nation with dedication.
