Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, has expressed concerns that ongoing negotiations give the impression the former prime minister seeks to leave jail through an NRO-like arrangement.
The perception that the negotiations give to him is that emulates this kind of implication that the former prime minister is leaving jail through some kind of NRO arrangement.
On speaking to the media outside the Adiala Jail, Aleema said, “Imran Khan is fighting legal cases for more than one-and-a-half years now.”

Aleema’s words are of great concern since she brings forth the false impression created by negotiations, representing, more so falsely, Imran Khan as one seeking an NRO for his release.
It has been mentioned that efforts had been made to push him out of the country with options from three years to six months, house arrest, or silence as the government keeps going with its agenda.
She made it clear that all demands were clear from Imran Khan’s negotiating committee, which met with the government two or three times.
His main demands are the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the events of May 9 and November 26, along with an inquiry into the FIRs filed against 10,000 to 12,000 individuals. He also called for the release of innocent people currently detained.
Regarding the Al-Qadir Trust case, Aleema stated that Imran Khan had categorically denied any claims about that case being used as leverage against him.
He further asked that the authorities make a declaration regarding the verdict in this particular case, similar to how they have treated the Iddat and cipher cases.
