Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has rejected the claims made by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder’s wife Bushra Bibi that she is alone in the protest at D-Chowk. Gandapur might have said all this while talking to journalists in Dera Ismail Khan, saying “I was with Bushra Bibi the entire event.” “If Bushra Bibi was referring to someone else after that, that is her personal opinion, but I was with her the entire time,” he stated.

However, earlier, according to Bushra, who sat with the workers in Charsadda, she said that she was abandoned in her car at D-Chowk, during the protest operation. However, the timeline does not match earlier reports from the ground, as it is reported that Bushra Bibi and Gandapur were seen leaving the site together sometime before midnight. The contradicting accounts have caused a buzz among the party cadre indicating poor coordination of PTI tops during the protest.
