Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, announced on Tuesday that all Hajj applications submitted till December 3, 2024, have been approved, which will save the applicants from worry.
As the minister explained, all the pilgrims who submitted their applications between November 18 and December 3 under the normal scheme for Hajj have been announced as successful. Likewise, applicants under the sponsorship scheme have also been approved without any need for a draw.
The minister further announced an extension of seven days for Hajj application submission in view of the difficulties encountered by residents of remote areas in submitting their applications. Applications in the Government Hajj Scheme can be filed up to December 10, 2024, in designated banks for depositing forms.

Further clarifying this, Chaudhry Salik Hussain said if the cases exceeded the quota, a ballot would be conducted to ensure fairness. Overseas Pakistanis will be able to send the sponsorship payment by December 10 in order to confirm their participation.
To streamline the system, an online portal has been set up, even accessible through the official website of the Ministry, which enables the applicants to fill out their Hajj forms from home. Pilgrims have also been advised to get the download of ‘Pak Hajj’ mobile app for the latest and well-managed guidelines and information.
Thus, the new direction is in the case of the application procedure maximally simplified and made most comfortably accessible to all aspirants.
