Apple Releases iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 with Siri-ChatGPT Integration

iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 are the latest software updates from Apple that come for all compatible iPhone and iPad models. These updates followed a series of beta tests and the release of two RC builds before going public for wider use. Among other advantages, the updates give a range of features.

Among the improvements is the connection between Siri and OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which allows Siri to process more complex queries using the abilities of ChatGPT. After anonymizing the requests of users, this feature puts them under the option to log in for even more benefits using their accounts from OpenAI’s data policy.

The rest of the additions include Image Playground, an application enabling users to create fun illustrations based on text prompts and personal photographs, and Genmoji-another bringer of customized emojis from text prompts. Both features syncing across devices via iCloud for seamless access.
