Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir has assured that the Pakistan Armed Forces are well able with robust national support to defend the territory and sovereignty of the country against a very wide range of threats.
In a field training exercise visit near Narowal and Sialkot, the COAS articulated the paramount importance of always standing ready to counter threats of any kind posed by adversaries, as reported by an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release.

He reviewed generalities of exercise and conduct of exercise aiming at refining professional skills and battlefield procedures to address emerging operational challenges. The exercise included integrated fire and maneuver operations by various units including Armour, Infantry, Mechanized Infantry, Artillery, Air Defence, Army Aviation, and Anti-Tank Guided Missile units. It also demonstrated good electronic warfare capabilities and information operations for degrading enemy communications and counter disinformation strategy in a modern battlefield environment.
General Munir spent the day in the field with troops, extolling their training standards, operational readiness, and morale levels. Upon his arrival, was welcomed by Commander Gujranwala Corps and the Inspector General of Training and Evaluation.
