An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore has postponed the interim bail of Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan, and PTI leader Salman Akram Raja until January 18. They are involved in a violent clash case against PTI workers with police on October 5. Extending the bail for Ali Imtiaz Warraich and some other party leaders is also part of the same case.
They had filed petitions for bail in four different cases. The present order has granted a temporary hibernation since charges are being filed against them as a result of the protest.

Meanwhile, the former Prime Minister and PTI founder, currently confined behind bars, has threatened a civil disobedience movement if his asks are not granted. Through his sister, Aleema Khan, Imran reiterated two important questions first being the release of “political prisoners”, and the second, a judicial commission to probe the events of May 9, 2023, and the November 26 action against PTI protesters.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan dismissed “all kinds” of rumors about her brother’s health. She assured reporters of Imran Khan’s well-being, stating that he is doing very well and is fit because he exercises regularly. She also hinted about a major development, saying the former PM has “one final card” left to play] without giving any more details.
