The bodies have been sent home to Baku from Kazakhstan and are 24 Azerbaijani victims who died in the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) passenger plane in Aktau.
The bodies were taken to Heydar Aliyev International Airport by officials from the Azerbaijani Ministry Of Health on a plane, late Saturday night’s contact.
The bodies – three crew members and 21 passengers – will first undergo their autopsy to be handed over to family members.

On Thursday, Baku received 14 injured passengers and another body of four from the crash site.
The flight, which was from Baku to the Chechen Republic in Russia, crashed approximately 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) from Aktau on the Caspian Sea coast.
Kazakh authorities said that 38 out of the total of 67 people on board the Embraer 190 aircraft died in the crash, while 29 survived. Meanwhile, investigation of the incident is still going on in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
Initial statements indicate that a bird caused the crash, but pictures taken at the site show large holes in the tail of the aircraft, raising further speculation about an attack:
Earlier on Thursday, senior Azerbaijani officials confirmed to Anadolu reports that the plane crash was caused by a Russian missile system.
