Radio Pakistan reported that the Belarus President, Aleksandr Lukashenko, is on a three-day tour to Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received the visiting dignitary this evening at the Nur Khan Airbase, Rawalpindi.
The two heads of state will engage in a range of discussions on bilateral and regional issues of common concern.
They will also hold delegation-level bilateral talks.
Many Memorandums of Understanding are set to be signed to enhance cooperation in various fields between Pakistan and Belarus.

Interestingly, a high-level sixty-eight-member delegation, headed by the Foreign Minister of Belarus, flew in yesterday to Pakistan.
The ministers from the Belarusian cabinet and other top business figures and investors are also included in the delegation.
