Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in Pakistan today for an official visit that will last three days. Discussions between him and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif would center chiefly on areas of bilateral cooperation and increasing engagement between the two countries.
Several agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) are likely to be signed during the visit, which is a major step in advancing relations between the two countries. The visit shows the countries’ growing partnership and underscores collaboration in multiple spheres.

Before the arrival of President Lukashenko, a Belarusian ministerial delegation arrived in Islamabad, led by Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov. At the airport, the Home Minister of Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi, received the delegation warmly.
This excursion is believed to be an opportunity to further ties and develop new paths within those trade, technology, and cultural exchanges. Both sides are expected to establish a strong umbrella of diplomatic, economic, and strategic ties at the visit of President Lukashenko in Pakistan.
