Once again, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has come up with a much-talked-about policy for the auctioning of some prime commercial plots for the construction of five-star hotels along with residential plot development in the beautiful Sector C-14. The action plan, initiated in a meeting with CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa at the helm on Thursday last, is primarily intended to attract the maximum investment from local and overseas Pakistanis.
Specifically targeted at overseas Pakistanis and international investors, the two highlighted prime plots have been earmarked for bidding by an international calling at the meeting attended by CDA board members and senior officials. The completed date for bidding on these luxury hotel plots is December 17, 2024-the officials emphasized terms on friendly investor participation.
Flexible payment plans, simplified terms, and other incentives are part of the introduction by CDA that would invite investment. Chairman Randhawa endorsed such steps as vital changes to transform Islamabad into a global center for tourism, business, and modern urban life.

“We are determined to make Islamabad the city of luxury and progress, opening unrivaled opportunities for investors. The overseas Pakistani is central to this vision, and we will work with the embassies and missions abroad to promote these golden opportunities,” Randhawa said.
The same initiative also includes residential plots in the new Sector C-14, lying at the southern feet of the Margalla Hills. Those plots are specially created for a high-end living style and are marketed for Pakistanis and Overseas with a little more preference for investment with a foreign currency like the US dollar.
