Beijing has asked the European Union to take substantial strides toward further talks on EV trade disputes regarding electric vehicles. He Yongqian, spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Commerce, noted that China has always promoted the resolution of trade disputes. He hoped that the EU would act as soon as possible to advance dialogue.

Progress has been made in discussions on the price commitment scheme for Chinese Electric Vehicles with teams from both sides intensively discussing the technical issues. Teams, owing to an existing principled consensus, have achieved this little through their hard work.
