Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza made a visit to the forward Naval Operational Base, Ormara on Friday, it was reported in the news.
The Chairman JCSC was also treated to exhaustive operational briefings on the current threat scenario and the area defense, according to a press release by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza toured the operational assets of the Navy, including Surface Ships and a Submarine, and assessed the operational preparedness and combat readiness of the units at sea.

Addressing troops in the Coastal Area and on board ships, the Chairman JCSC expressed satisfaction with the operational readiness of deployed elements.
He has also motivated the troops and enjoined upon them the need to optimally utilize the latest weapons and equipment in a spirited manner in the pursuit of defense of the motherland.
